Clearwater
A group of school children in a sleepy mid-western town discover that their town holds a dark secret. They must overcome their differences and band together to fight the darkness, before they become lost to it forever.
This game was developed as a request from a player but explored a new setting and narrative using the chosen system and lore. For this very Buffy style games, the players returned to high school and had to balance lessons and school politics while fighting the forces of darkness.
The town of Clearwater was designed from scratch and a new timetable system for the classes during the day. I also developed a new storyline which tied into the school in an unexpected way and the players discovered that corruption in Clearwater went down to the very roots of the town.
